Clay Aiken finally told People Magazine what we've been known; he's gay. He's on the cover of the latest issue with his son Parker.
On making the decision to come out of the closet:
"It was the first decision I made as a father," Aiken, 29, tells the upcoming issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday. "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that."
His fans reactions:
Whether it be having a child out of wedlock, or whether it be simply being a homosexual, it's going to be a lot...know that I've never intended to lie to anybody at all. ... But if they leave, I don't want them to leave hating me.
On his mom's reaction:
She started crying. She was obviously somewhat stunned. But she was very supportive and very comforting...She still struggles with things quite a bit, but she's come a long way."
Now....come on. There is no way his mom should have been shocked her baby was a tambourine player. It's been evident from the first day I've ever seen him. We'll see how loyal is fans will be after this admittance. They use to bumrush A HOT MESS! blog getting mad at us for saying he's gay. Let's see their reaction now.

MTV TRL will be no more after 10 years on the air. They said their only taking "a break" but I doubt it. Who even watches that show anymore?
The music video show will conclude in a two-hour special on a Saturday afternoon in November, Dave Sirulnick, executive producer of "TRL," said Monday. He stressed that the show wasn't ending for good, but felt now was the right time to give it a break after an unprecedented run on the cable music channel.
"We want to close this era of 'TRL' in a big celebratory way, and 10 is a great number," Sirulnick said. "And 10 is the number that `TRL' counted down every single day for 10 years, and we hit this 10th (anniversary) and we thought, `You know what? This feels like the right time and let's celebrate it and let's reward it. And let's let it have a little bit of a rest for a minute.' Let it catch its breath! Been working hard -- for 10 years!"
"It becomes more of a mainstay and more of an institution than -- pardon the pun -- the new kid on the block," Sirulnick said.(source)

Let me start by saying I like Solange. I didn't think I would at first but I'm digging the chick. I love her new song and I never compare her to her sister because they're in two different leagues. However, I need her to stop trying to PROVE to us how different she is and just be whoever she is.
If you have to keep reiterating your point, then maybe you aren't as different as you think you are. It seems like every article, or blog post I run across she's doing that and it's starting to irritate me. It seems like she's fueling the fire more then the media.
Okay, you blew backa blunt and got a little action...big deal. You won't be the first or last. This doesn't exactly make you grown or different; it makes you just like a lot of the other women in the world.
