I was shocked to see a lot of people throwing a fit over Lil Wayne winning the Grammy for Best Rap Album last night. I thought his cd as a hot joint and I solid effort. It showed his growth as an artist in my opinion. I mean this is the same person who had the lyrics "wobbly, wobbly, wobbly, drop, drop it like its hot." We've watched him grow lyrically and I think that's what makes him appeal to us.

Plus he has put in work! He is the reason so many other singles were successful. Take him off half of these tracks and you wouldn't even listen to those songs. More importantly, "the others" love him. That right there signed his fate. He interviewed with Katie Couric for chrissake. IT WAS A WRAP!

What is your opinion on Wayne's win last night?
