Kelly Rowland was unfortunately dropped from Columbia records because they deem her as being "no longer commercially viable." WTF?! Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't her solo albums sell over 4 million copies? I smell BS. I wouldn't doubt if Daddy Knowles had in hand somewhere in this mess. Breaking away from the Knowles is like trying to get out of the mafia. LOL

At least she still has the reality show she's working on with fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi. I've always liked Kelly and I hope she can rise above all of this. It's very possible, look at Letoya Luckett.

...and gave her pimp Matthew Knowles the boot. It only took 2 albums going certified acrylic in The States. SMH

She released the following statement:

"Mathew Knowles has been a positive influence in my career," Rowland said in the statement. "I have had great success under his guidance — both as a member of Destiny's Child and with my solo projects. Although we have decided to part ways professionally, the Knowles family and the entire Music World Entertainment team will always be my family."

And Pimp Knowles response:

"After a very positive meeting between Kelly Rowland and myself, we have amicably agreed to end our professional relationship," he said in the statement. "My company, Music World, will continue to manage Destiny's Child as a group. As an artist Kelly has incredible talent and I only wish her the best. We will always be family first and foremost, and as a dad I only have love for Kelly."

My Response:

BATCH PLEASE. We both know he acted a plum fool when she said she was ready to cut ties with him. She was tired of playing the background. I know she really was like damn that when So-So Lange album got more attention then hers. Kelly put in YEARS of work and all Solange was known as was Beyonce's little sister and somebodies baby mama.

It took Kelly too long to watch her setup. I think her time have come and gone and although I'm glad she finally fired him...I think it's a little too late.

Is it me, or out boy/girl bands just set up for failure everytime?

Man I swear Mary J. Blige gets better with age. She's pictured above on the cover of Vegas magazine. I've never heard of this magazine, but I know she worked the cover! She's one of the only black women who pulls the blonde hair off without looking too ghetto. If she can pass those bangles over I'll be one happy sista.

Kelly Rowland was spotted the UK, her second home. They adore her over there so I guess she's staying where she's appreciated. I'm not mad at her.The colors in her maxi dress compliment her skin tone so well. She radiating, even with her "get the hell out of the way" face. I've always been a fan of Kelly; her music and her personal style. She needs to exude more confidence about herself and the public will follow suit.
