A lot of women are buying purses off the train and trunks of people cars and it's annoying me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not tripping on your knock off designer bags. DO YOU. I understand we all can't afford Jimmy Choo, Prada, and Dolce and Gabbana. If you're trying to keep up with the Joneses, that's your bidness....who am I to stop you. But my BIGGEST pet peeve is women walking around in knock off COACH BAGS! WTF?!

Seriously, Coach is one of the most reasonable brand name purses out here. If you can't fork over the money for the REAL thing then eff it. Run down to Burlington Coat Factory and get you a nice little fashion purse for a few dollars. But I don't wanna see you in this......

SEOD...you know Coach wouldn't DARE. Go to their website and I guarantee you won't see SHAT that look remotely like this purse. SMH

One of the other versions that blow me is "Coach" purses whose "C's" look like "G's." Honestly, WHO ARE YOU FOOLING? I swear I can't take it. Every time I see one of them I want to take it and throw it in front of the first moving train or truck I see. But the one I saw the other day took the cake and prompted this entire post.

This lady walked on the train holding her handbag with TWO HANDS honey. She was holding it by the straps and had her other hand at the bottom of the bag. I thought maybe her straps were about to break or something. I couldn't sleep during my 30 minute ride because she just kept messing with this bag! She kept turning it around looking at it...admiring it...so my curiosity was peaked. I really wanted to know what the deal was with this bag. Yeah I'm nosey...SO WHAT? LOL

People, when she got up, I swear my soul got up as well and left my body. She took the bag and swung that mug on her shoulder like she was Paris Hilton rocking a new exclusive Gucci purse on the red carpet. But get this, it was a Coach bag right. However, it was the WORST knock off I've EVER seen. It was burgundy plastic, I won't even say pleather because it would be giving her too much credit. But the worst part of it was on the front was a HUGE picture of a HORSE AND CARRIAGE. *Howling*


I know people on the train thought I was nuts because I was laughing loud. I swear I almost had tears coming out of my eyes. I've searched high and low for a picture of that bag and I can't find one. If you see one like it...please snap a pic and hook a sister up! Seeing is believing folks!

My vent: It's really not that serious to have a designer bag. There are plenty of off brand bags just as cute as the one your heart desires. At least they won't get your roasted and will more then likely last more then a month. Those knock off bags are poorly made and never last long. Be smart about your money...we're in a RECESSION.
