I'll start. I live in Oklahoma (aka "The Redest State next to Texas"). Needless to say, I was crunk about voting. I got up around 7:30am. Left the house and got to the polls by 8:00am. I looked around and realized that I was the onlyest black person there. So...as expected, I received SEODs from majority of the people in attendance. Didn't bother me none. I voted around 8:20ish am, and even took a picture of my paper ballot with my camera phone (which I think was illegal, but hell...). And I was done.
So...what's your story?

You were in line for only 20 min...and that bout nothing. I got to the polling place at exactly 6:05 am and was in line for 2 hours pissed cuz people kept cutting and then they had the nerve to not give me my 'voted' sticker. You betta believe I was bout to tear that bish up...but I got it *smiles*. GO OBAMA!!!!!!!!
I got up as usual, but because I was out sick yesterday I had my clothes out the night before. Got dressed and was at the polls at 7:15 am. There was a line already coming out the door, but as soon as I jumped in line of course there was some foolishness.. a lady came around passing out flyers for Obama right at the front steps of the polling place. When one of the volunteers came to ask her to move on she placed her hand lovingly on the ladies shoulder and asked her not to campaign in front of the door - she needed to be 100 ft away.. the lady caught her "neck rolling" attitude and yelled at the volunteer not to put her hands on her.. everybody in line gave the lady a SEOD because she was on some extra strength bs this morning.. needless to say the lady moved on without incident, but it just goes to show you SOMEBODY is gonna show they ass today.
I got of at 5AM and was in line by 6:03. The line was around the gymnasium and down the hall. I waited in line for 2 hrs. and 15 mins. People were trying to cut the line and ish but stopped once they almost caused a all out brawl. They needed more help because that ish was ridic. The bad part was people waiting in that line for 2 hrs then finally making up there and finding out they had to go to a different poll. A lot of them got irritated and said they weren't voting. EXACTLY what some of "the others" want to hear!
