WYSU Radio (Slam It Or Jam It) Kanye-Heartless (FULL)

I really wish that I didn't hear the live version first, because it had more passion (more crunk) to it. Eventho I know Kanye is a genius, what's been bothering me lately about him is that he use to be an artist who strives to change the game. I think his 2 songs + the fact that he's using a vocoder for the whole album = is NOT game-changing, and that's disappointing. Eventho I would love the "College Dropout" Kanye to comeback, I know that it's foolish of me to want that. I know artists need to grow and explore, but bring change to the game each time. College Dropout was a game-changer.

i love it, shit is sooo different from rap right now and thats what i need. i dont care bout a vocoder, it doesnt bother me, i listen to the lyrics and to the beat and with kanye, both are TOP NOTCH. he gonna get tons of accolades with this album cause its not one genre

Kanye is a lyrical picasso. His lyrical content is what sets him apart. However, he could have done without the vocoder. He doesn`t need to fall into that trap. Imo, he`s too talented for that. If his whole album is indeed recorded with the vocoder then that is definitely "disappointing".

I like it but don't luv it like the live version. Like "That One" said the live version is more crunk. He sounds relaxed in this like he's been sippin on some of Wayne's drank. Abd he could've had Usher or someone else sing the chorus w/o the vocoder. Getting this album might be the 1st no for Kanye from me
