Today is national Breast Cancer Awareness Day. My blogger buddy Styles is asking for our support for the cause! To help the cause is very simple. make a donation of $5 or more to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the leader of the global breast cancer movement.

I can get down with this! I even have BC tag on my truck...this actually hits pretty close to home. A (old) friend of mine lost her mom when we 9...we when were 13 SHE had to get lump removed! It's really life or death to know your family history and get checked out!

I'm down too.. my b/f's mother passed away when he was 17 of breast cancer. I never got a chance to meet my potential mother-in-law.
Thank God that no one close to me has BC, but why wait until somebody does? This needs support and I'm glad that this site (unlike most) is taking time out to shed light on this.
I've thankfully never lost anyone to bc and I'm praying I never will. My heart goes out to families whose had to deal with it. I'll most definitely be making a contribution tonight. (My irresponsible self didn't grab my wallet this morn. lol)
